I'm just about to pull the trigger and purchase a Lokar Pedal / Cable Assembly - can't imagine why this wouldn't be a solid/functional upgrade/replacement.

X2! Both of my cars have Lokar pedal assemblies. Nice, high quality item with very good customer service.

Question for your guys who have installed these - how big of a hole do you have to drill for the cable pass-thru? I am no where near installing my engine; however, I want to install my pedal/cable setup and drill the pass-thru hole as I'm going to begin smoothing my firewall and want to avoid drilling through it thereafter.

thanks

I believe it's 3/8" for the threaded cable housing part to go through. I can measure it in the next day or so.

The OEM throttle on the 67 is the most retarded part on the car.
I could not find any aftermarket pedeal / cables for the 67.
After 2 Ebay Oem replacements I was fed up.
So I adapted a pedal and cable from a 90's Pontiac Bonaville SSEI.
Works great. And feels just like my 96 Impala.
