When waiting at a stoplight the engine is starting to stumble from a smooth idle to a jerking miss. As long as I ease into a long drawn out acceleration from the light the car will not embarrass me by acting like choking animal and entertaining those not affected. When going up an on ramp it gets really interesting. So it’s like any time I need power to get the car going does it do this.
I did take 1000 grit sandpaper and shine the contact points in the distributor cap and rotor.
I made sure the counter weights and swivel underneath the rotor are OK.
Could it be the vacuum diaphragm off the side of the distributor for the acceleration issue?
Whasss Sup?? Thanks everyone!!
