Can someone please tell me what the black pull lever to the right of the emergency brake lever is on a '66 el camino? I just inherited a restored '66 and I'm still playing touchy feely with the car.

Is the trans a three speed, it may be an overdrive engagement lever.

i believe that would be used to open and close the vents.
