so here's the new Lokar throttle cable. nice improvement. before the pedal throw was very short making for a touchy throttle. a good bump would make me goose it enough to spin tires sometimes. now much better pedal feel and more throw. also much smoother operation. not to mention that it will be kinder to the throttle shaft on the carb due to better geometry with the spring location and cable actuation. plus it looks cool.

nah, picked it up at the local speed shop in NC before i moved here to Turkey and brought it with me along with a ton of other parts including a TKO600 in the shipment with all my furniture etc. but shipping on parts is not too bad here either. i get the USPS rate to new york (APO address) and then the military picks up the bill from there.

Is that the universal cable, I have the same holley bracket for the cable and springs and just need to know which cable you used.
Thanks

cable was Lokar pn# TC1000HT. I did have to cut the cable and housing to length. a little scary knowing you only get one shot at it, but careful measurement, and using a high speed cutting wheel instead of dikes or hacksaw made for a clean cut and nice fit. also i have solid motor mounts, so the engine is not gonna move much. my bracket is made by AED. not sure if it the same as the holley piece or not.
