Well I got the car home now and I am going to start cleaning the underneath up. I plan on wire brushing everything that is loose. I would like to leave the undercoating that the car has on it though. I just want it to look clean under there, not wanting to have a car that I can eat dinner off of underneath.

There is a little grease in a couple areas but mostly it is just a good coating of dirt and mud on top of the undercoating that is on the floorpans.

The frame has scale and dirt on it as well but I think the frame will be easier to get in shape.

Is there something that will make it look nice without scraping all the undercoating off the floors???????

Yeah that is what I am trying to get around. The scraping and all of that stuff. If it were black under the car I would leave it be under there. It just has that gray and brown dirt color to it in the undercoating. I don't mind a bit laying on my back for a week or two if I can't find anything to coat it the way it is after a good cleaning. I guess I might have to lay on the creeper wear a full face shield and go at it I suppose.

Yeah rolling the car around upside down and on it's side would be great but I don't think I want to do that at the moment. Thanks for the suggestion John. The next car I do will be done on one for sure before paint.
