I was looking at the Lunati site, this is their smallest street roller for BBC. Looks like a Ultradyne grind. Advertised duration is 278 Intake 290 Exhaust...Duration at .050 is 244 Intake...255 Exhaust...Lift .630 Int. and .630 Ex....112 lobe seperation...says great power from 2000 to 6000RPM. I was thinking about 10.5 to 10.75 compression with this grind. Combo is 496 Canfield 310cc heads with 119cc chambers, TH-400 with around a 2500 stall converter, 3.55 rear gears, a 850 DP, and a good dual plane intake, and some 1.75" or 1 7/8" headers. With the 112 lobe seperation it should idle somewhat decent for use in a auto trans. What do you guys think? graemlins/beers.gif

Aw com'on, I'm dying to have someone try the A3 roller grind. It was less separation in the split, and a bit more lift. (And want to slip one in my buddy's 509, but not be the first one I know of!) ;)

I have been kicking around the idea of trying the A3 cam in my 454 but I don't think I would have enough valve to piston clearance.

I would want it ground on a 108 lobe sep. With a fairly aggressive lobe design and decent lift with moderate duration (245/253, .660lift), this thing would make KILLER mid-range torque in a 427/454/496. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
