I am trying to look ahead at planning my efi swap and thought I had read somewhere that a late model impala or caprice plastic tank could fit a 1967 chevelle. Does anyone know of any other stock tank that could be made to fit with the ability of using the intank high pressure pump? The rock valley is nice and expensive but I would like to be cheaper and avoid an external pump.

I'm not sure about a 67 but I put a tank from a Grand National in my 70 and fit great, had the rear filler tube(which needed minor mods). They run about $200 brand new. Other than that, most of the EFI tanks I looked at had side-fill necks on them.
