That listing might be in the running for the most blatant ignorance and assumption ever.

 WHAT ????????? l:)l:)l:)

Note: we did not bother opening it up to check if it had customed cranckshaft and all but all the components around suggest strongly that the car was set up for quarter-miile racing (small block + small radiator = gain of weight, front calipers were moved to the back of the wheel, 12 bolts positraction, L41? Also, before we rebuilt the carburator, choke was fully open suggesting a set-up for starting at full power. Springs look like heavy duty truck springs).

Can someone PLEASE explain to me what "hood needs hinges welded" could possibly mean?

No, it's for real. That car was listed on the free classifieds here for a while, and the ad had the same flavor.

Has to be a practical joke.

:noway: That add reminds me of a guy a few years ago that I tried to buy a stock Power Glide. He wanted $300.00 for it  He said it was worth it because they use them racing.

The guy seemed to forget mentioning that it, Leaks Like a siv.

Watch the 2nd. video, 37sec. in.
Course, that could be where the driver peed himself when it started, after he pumped the gas pedal a dozen times.

Shouldn't have to read a long novel before viewing a few pictures.

Quarter mile racing, hmmmm. I hadn't watched the videos of the car. That thing probably won't even turn the junker tires that are on it.

Some people are getting pretty sick of seeing Andy Andy Andy Andy in almost every thread so I think I'm going to start deleting a bunch of off topic posts again. :(

Guys, it is obvious that you missed this part.

"These guys were experts for sure as they did pick the perfect stock car for this matter and really knew what they were doing!"

Just thought I would make sure this was not overlooked in case any of you need a professionally assembled stock car! The only part I think they did wrong was the choke setting. If you close the choke most of the way it speeds up the air velocity and when you do that it idles like a prostock and you get the additional fuel requirements needed for such a powerful beast. You can tell by the black smoke out of the pipes. Maybe I will email him and suggest this adjustment.

I think he's getting about what it's worth. He might think it's worth more though...

What a piece of sh**! "It may be an SS?" I'm sure a potential buyer would definitely be interested in the new fuel filter!

The only thing sadder than that ad would be if a buyer actually bought into it.

i'm no smokey yunick or anything, but man, i wouldn't even know where to start if i wanted to straighten this guy out on cars. if bad information was water, this guy could float a battleship.
and man, what a long description, i thought he was never going to stop spewing it out. if he gets $1/ word he'll do very well on this car.

I like the video where moron #2 says "Go ahead and try it" and moron #1 turns the key and the POS engine barely turns over and sounds like a couple of bolts shaking in a coffee can.
