ok i ran my 383 with a 750 holley with a performance mechanical pump can i run my dual quad set up 2 -450 hollies with the same pump or should i go with an electric one? any help would be appreciated!! also dose anyone know a good carb builder(re) in illinois near chicago or rockford? thanx :confused:

I ran 2 450's with a mech pump years and years ago. I never noticed a problem. However the answer is yes, you need to run an electric pump. I run a Holley black pump with my 2 600's. I never thought that I was running out of fuel. My recent purchase of a wide band 02 sensor may be telling me different. I am still trying to figure it out soooo, get an electric pump. Monte
