You would cure the problem the same with the the dual carb set up as you would single carb. However I would suggest that you make sure each carb is set exactly the same. I can tell you that I spent 4 hours on my carbs just getting the butterflies to sweep exactly the same. I have a side mount set up. Front mounts are easier. The first thing I would do is pull them both off and make sure everything is the same. Here is how I did mine. First I started by making sure the butterflies on each carb are set in the exact same position when closed. I then give them 1 turn on the idle screw. Then check to make sure the butterflies have the same distance to the transfer slot. They should be close. I then did the same with the rear butterflies. I have no slot exposed front or rear on either carb. Then make sure all the float levels and the accelerator pumps are set the same. I would check the power valve as well to make sure they are good and the same size. I would check the accelerator pump cams and verify that they are the same number and are in the same hole. (usually #1) Verify the squirters are the same size and then I would go to the mixture screws. I would go 1 1/2 out on each to start. If each carb is 4 corner idle then 1 1/4 turn each. Then I would check the linkage to make sure the butterflies sweep at the same rate and that they hit WOT at the same time together. Once the set up is exactly the same I would see how it runs. Verify all of you float levels are the same. Then as you start to make changes, what ever you do to one carb, you do the exact same to the other. Do only one thing at a time. If after all that you still have a stumble try going up in squirter size. If you still cant get it feel free to e-mail me. Monte
