That looks like the car I seen in a video a couple years ago. It was doing a street race under a bridge against a late 70s/early 80s Camaro. Both freakin fast cars, and the chevelle pulled the hides off the launch. Really loud too. Wicked vid graemlins/thumbsup.gif I'm pretty sure thats the car.

Still waiting for good air. 1600ft is best I've run in and have'nt touched jets yet. Doing some changes right now. Having the headers coated and gonna try a ram air box and larger carb. Gonna try to get into the high 40's (good air of course--- 300ft or below) with my current heads. Just ordered a new set of Dart Pro-1's fully ported and Yella Terra shaft rockers. Should pickup a good bit over the current small heads. I'll be switching to the new heads in late Feb or March. Shooting for BOTTOM 10's in good air. I'm watching your progress also and am curious how it responds to the changes. GOOD LUCK!

Rod, yes they'll be for sale. The heads/stud girdle/rockers. Know anybody interested let me know. They're really versatile. Did super on my 355 and very respectable on the 422 (just a tad too small). They'd be dynamite on a well built 383.

That car belongs to Robert Schmitt.
It was featured in the Oct. 03 P.H.R. mag.
Runs a 860 horse 565"

The heads on that car were Darts & they were done by Tony Mamo who is the same Tony that is at AFR now & designed the AFR BB heads & the new LSI heads ;)
