Hi everyone,
I was hoping to get some tips here. I have a 69 Chevelle, American Autowire wiring harness (over a year old), and when I turn on my parking lights, the rear work fine, the front passenger side bumper is off. The turn signal works fine. Here's the rub: I disconnected the parking light plugs (L & R) from the harness, reconnected them and they both worked. I shut the parking lights off, turn them back on and now the driver's side parking light is off. Disconnect them both, reconnect them and both are working again. Shut the parking lights off, turn them back on, and the passenger side is out again. *sigh* I checked (w test light) and power was going to both plugs in the harness. I'm not sure if it's a ground issue somewhere, or maybe it's the headlight switch itself. I know that the ground on the switch (in the dash carrier) is solid, so I'm not sure what to look for. I just noticed this a few weeks ago, and I was thinking that it had to have worked before that, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get my inspection sticker. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Paul
