how this scam works. I go to craigslist and see a 69 ZL1 camaro for $4500.00. Not just once, but again and again. Why do they do this? How are they going to make money on this bogus pricing?

There are two 69 camaros on houston craigslist now. One for 4500.00 and one for 5800.00. It's laughable, I just would like to know how the scammer benefits from this?

because the car really isnt there...

1 way is to get you who wants the car to send them all your info. Name, address, phone number, they will contact you to set up some kind of deal and when your really thinking the deal is going down you send them your bank account info OR a cashiers check, or some other kind of dumb thing...

Then they just take the money and your left with nothing...

Simple...

The adds are also posted as e-mail hunters...My buddies wife does this with dating adds...she gets paid for every valid e-mail she can turn in each month to the corporations in which send you all their advertisements... And she makes alot of money!!
