I have a 67 SS396 with power brakes, Q-Jet, factory manifold & A/C. I'm trying to hook up the power brake hose to the manifold. NONE of the right stuff, NPD, Ausley's, etc. tubes fit. The tubes available have a mtg. flange with a slotted hole that is supposed to go over the carb stud, but doesn't come close. I have a 69 SS396 with same engine & carb, and the available tube fits fine. Anyone out there know what's up?

I believe the correct pipe is originally part #3909606 (AIM J50/Sheet A4) and is unique to the 396 engine w/PB in 67. Finding it may not be an easy task.

Hmmm, it's been 6 or 7 years now since I purchased mine but I believe it came from Year One. I don't recall any problems with fit. God help us if the repo parts are getting WORSE :clonk:
