I just recived door panels for my 70 conv. They are unasembled from Year One, I don't have the old panels. Where can I get the top renforcement piece to glue the panel to, Also what glue do I need to use.

you will have to find an old set of panels for the upper support plates. they are kinda attached to the lower panel with a line of holes that are flared out. I just lined them up and tapped them through with a hammer with a coat of contact adhesive on them.
I think thay could have been a little more soild but after installation they seemed fine.

Seems the pre assembled are alot cheaper on the top rail as they use plastic for the top.

I have a set of top reinforcements that have been blasted and powdercoated if you are interested. Also have a set in original used condition.
