Guys,

I think I know the answer to this questions but I just want to make sure before I buy. I have the Disc Brake set up from a 69 chevelle that I can buy, spindles, calipers, backing plates. I need to add the rest. My question is will it fit my 66 ss396 as a conversion. I think it will but just want to make sure.

Thanks

I had that whole setup on my '67 - it should fit fine. Make sure you add some kind of proportioning valve for the rear drums or they will lock up before the fronts do anything. Mine was scary in a panic stop till I figured it out.....

Thanks, I kind of figured it would work. Your right on the proportioning valve I already have one ready to use.
Nice looking car, what tire and wheel combination are you running. I put a set of 15" TT classic's on mine this year but I could only get them in 8.5" wide and that made the offset too much and they rub in the front, rear are fine but might be tight when I lower it this winter so I think I will sell them and buy something else. The modification's never end.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks - they are 285s in the rear 17x9.5x5.5, 255s up front on 17x8x5.25(adapter needed to clear caliper)
