Finally Nov 24th, 08, 7:56 PM Brian, Thank You!
I'm not much of a body man but I always read your posts. Your tips are invaluable to guys like me with little experience in body work. The 2 latest posts provided by you are great. These, along with your posts on hood and door alignment, along with many others, should be stickies in this forum. It's members like you that make Team Chevelle and keep us inexperienced guys coming back.
Thanks Again.
MARTINSR Nov 24th, 08, 8:08 PM Hank, thank you so much for the kind words. You know, every once in a while I get an email or PM from someone showing me photos of some project that they did with help of these forums and thanks for contributing to them.
Every time I get one of those notes it fires me up to write a "Basics" or pull something out of my pile of "in the works" and finish it.
Many of them can be found at Team Chevelles sister site, Team Camaro... http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=74560
I have had such a blast with this work for 35 years and still can't get enough of it. To see someone get that same enjoyment out of it without having to learn the hard way, I am there for them!
Thanks again, I really appreciate it.
Of course there are MANY others who are deserving of thanks as well, don't save it all for me!
Brian
Finally Nov 24th, 08, 9:00 PM Brian,
I have read some of your posts on Team Camaro as well as the ones here. I just never took the time to thank you. This post was directed to you but as I said it's you and the other members like you and there are many, that make this site so great. So let me rephrase it.
Brian, thank you and all the other members like you that are willing to share your experience and knowledge with the rest of us.
Regards,
LKN BCK Nov 24th, 08, 9:12 PM Brians wisdom and others as well has helped me pull through issues and gave me confidence to do things without the worrying or even thinking twice!
THANKS AGAIN
bigskycountry Nov 24th, 08, 9:39 PM Brian,
I also would like to thank you for taking the time to write in detail "how to pages" for correct door/hood alignment. I have printed them and they are fixtures in my shop. Your lack of selfishness is to be commended, thanks for taking the time to inspire others, and help us all learn from your experience.

Listen guys, I learned from some very generous guys. I have a long list of guys who took the time to pass on things they have learned. I have never felt that bodymen were "holding back" keeping the "secrets", at least not the ones I have worked with.
I have had the pleasure of working with some super bodymen, and super gentleman. If there is one thing they taught me, spread the knowledge, I am simply following their lead.
If I could go back and thank the guys who took the time to show me, guys that I have no idea where they are, I would.
Thank you all, and for all who help out on these forums, I thank you as well.
Brian
3 Chiefs Nov 24th, 08, 10:24 PM Brian, I print out all of your "Basics of Basics" and have them hole punched and stored in a binder. It makes excellent reference material. I have spent much time sitting on the throne reading your words of wisdom and I do mean that in the most respectful way. Thank you for all your posts.

69chevelle355 Nov 25th, 08, 8:42 AM I agree with all the above. You've contributed more to this forum in a week than I have the entire time I've been a member. Dude's like you are a dieing breed. Thanks again!
