GM of Canada docs for mine says 1 of 96 13267 "300" convrtibles.
Rare but not super desireable.

they only made 96? I have 2 67 malibu hardtops but thought it would be a nice addition to my chevelles. I check the serial number and it comes up as convertible but that is all i can find on it. Any info would be appreciated.

Here's a couple pics of a nice 66 300 Deluxe vert that I took at the Penticton show in 05. I didn't even know they existed til I saw this one at the show.

Did you pick up the one off ebay? Interesting, rare car, you could probably order the docs from GM Canada...if you want them...

Is it a 13167 (6 cyl) or a 13267 (V8)? They made 96 with V8 power. I don't have the figures for the sixes but they may have made a greater number with sixes. Nearly every '67 300 convertible I have seen or seen documentation on has had a six, seemingly always the optional big 250.

There was a 300 convertible built 14 cars after mine. It had a 250, Powerglide, wheel covers, 7.75-14 whitewalls, AM radio and a power top (very popular option). It was Bolero Red with 757 black interior and a white top. I have also seen a Nantucket Blue one with 219 blue interior & a white top (250 power). I have also seen a Butternut Yellow one with black trim & top (250 again). There was a red V8 one offered online for an outrageous sum (never sold as far as I know) that I think was originally Marina Blue. 283 / glide & no PS or PB.

The base 300 convertibles were only made in Canada and were offered in 1965/6/7 only.

The 300 Deluxe series (no convertibles in this series) was offered in Canada in 1965, 1968-1970, then was a decor package on the base Chevelle in 71/72. In the U.S. the 300 Deluxe was 1965-69.

And; believe it or not, Chevy also offered the 'Deluxe' as a Chevelle (http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1973-1977-chevrolet-chevelle6.htm) package for 1973 as well............in all body styles. I remember seeing a lot of them in the Wash DC area 30+ years ago.
