: Sheetmetal replacement opinions...

I started out with an air tool, and wire wheels, and some POR-15 at first, and now I feel it isn't right. There are a few rust/body damage issues I would like to get fixed. In anyone's opinion, what should I have replaced, about how much should it cost to get done? I have posted pictures of mostly everything that needs done in my opinion, minus a few things that I forgot to take pictures of.

The upper cowl is all mangled up on the driver's side from being hit

Down to bare metal/nothing done to it at all/down to bare metal with a couple POR-15 coats on top (shows you how much better it looks if you were to clean up your firewall and paint it)

Now for the rusty areas and pictures

I'm pretty sure I'm going to need this

This is the drivers side rear corner by the floor board/trunk floor and inner wheelhouse

Passenger side rear seat floor pan area

I'm not quite sure what area this is called exactly, could be the inner wheelhouse from the outside view but this is from the driver's side rear tire area again

This is another view from the driver's side rear tire all up in that area, you know what I mean

The passenger side is just as bad as the driver's side in the rear, so I'm guessing I'm going to need a complete upper cowl, rear seat floor pan, L&R inner and outer wheelhouses, and probably just the L&R lower quarter panel patches. Probably a section of the trunk too up by all this rust needs replaced so I suppose that could be added.

Other than all that, there is no other sheetmetal that needs replaced. I'd like to have the bad stuff cut out, then get blasted, then put the new stuff in, prime it, paint it, and start putting everything back together.

If you could take a wild guess, to fix all that is wrong, and leave it to the point to where it is at least in a primer, about how much would I be looking at, on average? I appreciate any and all responses.

Sorry this was so long!

all those cowl pieces are reproduced. I think everything else you've shown can be fixed with patch panels rather than replacing the whole panel, except for the side part where the back seat arm rests are, I think you have to get that from a donor.

If you are going to replace the sheet metal there are two things i cannot stress enough. 1. pictures from every angle imaginable. It may seem trivial or overkill but the time and parts you'll save will justify it. 2. measurements quite simply you can't take enough. Measure the part or area you want to cut out while it is still in the factory location. Trust me if you dont you'll wish you had.
