A friend of mines wife loaded a YoutubeGet program on our computer about a month ago.
Everything worked fine til this weekend when I tried to use it.
When I click download coder exec. error pops up and wont allow it to down load the video.
I tried turning off firewall, no luck, any ideas?
Thanks.
What is the error???
Greg, this is how it appears when it pops up during down loading.
Microsoft Windows
coder.exe has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is
available.
Close program > optional blue box that appears in the small pop up window.
I am not sure what to make of it, please forgive my computer literacy as we have only owned one since January of 2008 and are still learning.
Thanks for taking interest in this matter.
Sincerely, John.

Most likely coder.exe and another program are conflicting with each other. Have you installed or uninstalled any new programs just before it stopped working?

Yes, my wife installed a "my web search fun toolbar", this tool bar comes with all the smileys for e-mail.
I will delete that particular program and see what happens, I will post back with progress.
Once again Greg, thanks for sharing your time and knowledge in this matter.
Sincerely, John.

John, also check to make sure you dont have any malware on your computer.
Those stupid fun search tool bars usually have malware in them.
To get a free copy of malware remover go here http://www.malwarebytes.org/
Thanks Brad, the link you provided was very helpful.:thumbsup:
The wife know understands about the fun search junk and not to down load it again.:hurray:
The program still isn't working properly, I think I will uninstall it and ask my friends wife to come and load it once again.:o
Greg and Brad, thank you for your help, it is appreciated.:beers:
Sincerly, John.
