The next PSCA race (Pacific Street Car Ass.)will be held Oct 22,23,24 at California Speedway in Fontana CA.Just wondering if anyone was planning on attending/racing. I highly recommend it,if you can make it. There are ten heads up classes and some of the fastest street cars in the world will be there. I am currently third in points in the 10.60 Index class and plan on being there. Check em out at www.pscaracing.com (http://www.pscaracing.com)

How is the 10.60 class? Is everybody dead nuts consistent, or is a n00b to bracket racing able to go rounds some days? When I finish my 496, that's the class I was planning on running.....

The class is very close and most of the cars run very close to the number...consistently. Reaction times are key. The guys winning aren't just getting lucky, so it may be hard at first to go rounds until you get some seat time, but you can't get better if you don't do it, so, go for it! The class is a lot of fun and very competitive. I might be doing better if I hadn't broke before the first round at 2 of the races...maybe.

I keep an eye on the Real Street class from afar (Missouri!)...my buddy's car is leading the points chase. Cool series...

I will probobly go to watch. My car isn't quite up to the task of racing. I know no one on here really knows me but I would like that chance to meet some of the TC guys that go out that weekend.

Sounds fun........guess I'll just have to practice once in a while to be competitive ;) .

I might enter the ORME BROS Open Comp. I'm a bit nervous about it though

Orme Bros. Open looks like what I would run. Do you know if mufflers are required at the PSCA events at Fontana?

There is no class requirement for mufflers in the open comp class and I'm pretty sure none of the tracks where PSCA runs require them.
