Thomas, I see your still flogging the elky, but whats up with the blower car? I don't hear much about it anymore graemlins/sad.gif . I'm still pressing with mine and should have the motor is several weeks.

Well, you would think if a guy had a 951 hp/863 tq engine sitting in his garage he would be busy putting a car together for it. Not the case. In the last year or so I had a couple of family members that I bailed out of financial hardship, and my wallet was still smarting from a business experiment the year before that didn't quite take off.

With an unexpectedly thinner wallet I decided to have some fun with what COULD be completed. What I think I would really like to do with the blower engine is to put it in a lighter back half car, I was thinking of www.vennom.com (http://www.vennom.com) As it is I would like to further tune the '65 Elky's suspension and try a few engine parts changes. I think that with just a little more setup that it will be good for ~ 10.5x e.t. (6.7x e.t. in the 1/8th) n/a - THEN there's the N2O :D

Wish me luck, if I get at least 50% of my goals in by years end that would be good.

Good luck with your new engine, I look forward to hearing the results.

Thomas, thanks for the update. I feel your pain when it comes to family members. Good luck with the elky, I'm sure a guy with your talent will get the performance your after. I'll keep you posted on my set-up, hopefully I'll have it on the chassis dyno in late Sept. or early October. BTW, the Vennom looks awsome:cool: and would make a nice home for the blown fat motor.
