I'm tossing around the idea of putting a roller cam in my motor ( '69 396/402 ).

I currently have Comp Cams XE268 for the motor, but was thinking of a roller setup.

What roller cam out there would be an equivalent of the a/m cam? Hydraulic or Solid?

I do want to maintain good engine vacuum for my power brakes.

I did tons of runs on DD2003 for a 10:1 427. The best compromise for the street was the XE276HR.
224 / 230 @ 50.
The best avg tq numbers came from the XE270HR, but I was concerned that it would make to much cyl pressure and detonate.

Putting it together right now.
