: Project NightTrain
adrianrc Nov 19th, 08, 9:37 PM Hey Everyone-
I just introduced myself a couple days ago on the forum and wanted to show some pics and tell my plans for my 67. Currently the car already has:
Nicely Rebuilt 350 Engine
350 Turbo Transmission
12 Bold Posi Rear end
4 Barrel Holley Carb and and Edelbrock Intake.
The interior is Super Clean
It has a JL Amp and 10" sub with wit Custom Auto Sound Head and cd changer.
It also has a Hotchkis rear suspension.
The car was beautiful as is and got it for a good price... It's already a head turner, but want to give that extra something to make people go WHOA....
I hooked up with Jon at Driverz Inc, and he has helped me immensely with tech and upgrade info. The car is currently in paint. I'm having a Matte black finish put on the top starting at the pinstripe. I received some 19x10 and 18x8 Rushforth Rated X Wheels (I attached a couple pics). Jon also hooked me up with Speed Tech Upper and Lower control arms with QA1 coilover adjustable shocks. I also got some Fesler Billet hood hinges and some Modo Innovations Pedals from Driverz. When the funds allow, I'm going to replace the stock Discs with Baer Big Brakes all the way around. I'd also like to replace the steering wheel in the near future too...

I'm hoping to have everything done by the 7th for the John Force Holiday car show out here in SoCal... I'm pretty anxious as it's my first time showing a car. I'm pretty new to the classic cars and can't thank Jon and Driverz Inc for all of their help... Customer service is huge for me and he's definatley helped out. Anyways, here are the pics of the car before the paint job and I will post more as I continue with the project... I thought it was fitting to name it NightTrain as I'm going for a Dark, Fast look for it. Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks for the compliment:). I really like the look of them too. The wheel is made by Rushforth Wheels and they are called the Rated-X. Here is a link to their site. http://www.rushforthwheels.com/ There are a ton of different options in sizes and finishes that you can get. I ordered them through Jon at Driverz Inc. He's the man when it comes to getting perfect fit wheels. PM me and I can get you his phone number. I'm sure he will help you out with any questions that you have.

adrianrc Nov 27th, 08, 3:00 AM It's the John Force Holiday Show in Yorba Linda on the 7th. I'll be heading out there with Jon from Driverz with his 55 and one of his other good customers. Pretty stoked cuz it's my first show. You can check out the details for it at www.socalcarculture.com. Thinking about going?
The WidowMaker Nov 27th, 08, 2:14 PM sounds good, i may just check it out. im just glad his shop didnt burn last week in the fire.

ss1cars Nov 29th, 08, 12:06 AM nice,how much drop is that?
adrianrc Nov 29th, 08, 2:49 AM The previous owner cut one coil out of the back and two coils in the front. The front was cut just a little to low because the wheel rubs when you turn at certain angles. I'm planning on replacing the front suspension so the front coils will be replaced and it will have adjustable QA1 shocks so the height can be adjusted. I'm also replacing the top and bottom control arms with a tubular Speed Tech suspension.
adrianrc Dec 1st, 08, 4:43 AM any updates??? i need my car porn.... motiV8r has screwed me up for life!!!!!
