Hey, does anyone have a key buzzer that actually works? Could anyone help me diagnose why mine isn't working? It is brand new, so are all the harnesses. Here are the other stats: 1970 chevelle SS clone, all new wiring harnesses, new voltage regulator, new battery, 350sb, auto, tach and gauge, a/c heat...let me know if you need anything else on the car to help me diagnose this problem. I have a 69 and mine works. The buzzer sound comes from your horn relay that is next to your voltage regulator on your core support driver side.

Mine works great,buzzes like hell .Sorry,I don't know how it works.

Pull out the drivers dome light switch and make sure both wires (white and black) are getting a good ground
when the door's open.
If that's not it, it'll probably be the switch inside the column behind the key.

whoo hoo, thanks men. I cant wait to get all these electrical issues resovled and my heater working again. I work downtown and park in a nice private parking garage, so I am going to start driving the chevelle to work. The last thing I will do is get the radio working again......
