I'm trying to determine what the correct driveline would be on my 69 Chevelle SS. It is an original 4-speed car converted to an auto. I do not have the numbers matching motor or transmission, but the rearend is a CW and the date code is consistent to the data plae. I'm want to put the driveline back to as close to original as I can. Any ideas on what 4-speed muncie was paired to the CW rear axle? How about the motor? My guess is it was the 325hp 396. Any help would be greatly appreicated. Thanks

do you have the original fuel lines still in it?
Holley used one 3/8 line (375HP)
Q-jet used 2 lines 350HP or 325HP

Two fuel lines, 3/8 with a return line, know it is not a L78. thanks
Per my references CW was the '69 axle code for 3.31 non-posi. That ratio was an optional economy ratio for both M20 and M21 4 speeds with the 325 and 350 hp 396 (325 hp only available with M20), with or without AC. 3.55 was the std ratio with 4 speed. 3.31 was also the std rear for a 3 speed manual with 325 hp. Your car couldn't have been a 375 hp originally with factory AC as the 375 hp wasn't available with AC. Both 325 and 350 hp had an overflow line from the fuel filter back to the tank, bypassing the fuel pump. 3.31 was also the std ratio for a non-SS with M20 4 speed and 350 engine.
