I have a 69 Malibu that had A/C at one time. PO sprayed everything in engine bay w/ black rattlecan. I can't tell where to hook up the orange lead (on new harness) for heater blower motor. The heater hoses disappear into the firewall but there is nothing that remotely looks like a blower motor in this area of firewall. I have a 67 Vette and the blower motor sticks out of the firewall plain as day. This was an Arizona car, but I can't believe it was a heater delete order. Any help greatly appreciated. Brawley

It's hidden by the right front fender.

Ok, do I have to remove the Rt front fender to access it? A little more info would really help. Thanks.

No, just removal of the inner fender will get you access to the motor.

Thanks for clearing that up. Now for another problem. A few months ago I tried to remove the inner fender skirt, and one of the bolts was fused by rust to what I assume is a clip on the other side of the skirt. The clip broke free and now the bolt/clip just spin freely. Any tricks to removing this or do I bust out the cutoff wheel and cut thru the bolt? Thanks again.

The A/C harness is a seperate harness that controls all heat and A/C functions. All dash harnesses have the heater wiring. The dash heater wiring is not used when a car has A/C. Under the hood there is also a 14g orange wire that went to the blower motor as all engine harnesses had the wire for the blower that is not used in a A/C car. The heat only wires were left unconnected from the factory. Hope this answers your question.
