She has been doing ok but has to have surgery again in the morning on her leg that did not heal properly. She has been dealing with this for more than 8 months now. I would appreciate it if you could again include her in your thoughts and prayers. She is scared about having surgery and the pain she will be in after.

Don't knock it until you tried it. A friend sent me this when my back went out at the beginning of the week. For three days it just didn't get any better. She sent me this and I'm back to my old self again in a day and a half. Now I send this to you. I hope it helps her. All the postive and healing thoughts I can give on on her way to your daughter.

my prayers are on their way, wish your daughter a speedy recovey from ireland, prayers do work as i have just seen over the last week.:)

Hi all! Thanks so much for your well wishes!

The surgery went well, it did take longer than expected though(4 hours). It turned out to be more complicated than the doctor expected after he got in there. He had to end up re-breaking both bones in her leg to get it to line up right and drill the inside of the bone out to insert a metal rod down through the middle. Then they had to keep her in the recovery room longer than planned too because her body temperature fell to 95 degrees. She finally stabilized and they moved her to a room.
She had a rough time last night from the pain and they have decided to keep her there again tonight mainly for pain control. She is having break through pain in between her doses of pain killers and they are giving her some stuff intravenously. Hopefully she will be able to come home tomorrow. I am exhausted and sleeping, if you can call it that, sitting up in a chair is hell on my back. But I will deal with it because it is nothing compared to what my baby is feeling. Thanks again to everyone!:thumbsup:

Absolutely nothing yet.:mad: Allstate is still jerking us around. All they keep telling us is they are still investigating. Like I said before that jerk filed a claim against us too for "mental anguish".:angry: What a joke since he never even bothered to find out how she was and still hasn't to this day. I think because we both have Allstate they are trying to figure out a way of getting out of paying it all together. Like no fault on both sides or something like that. I really don't know that's just what I'm guessing. Thank goodness for our health insurance, Anthem, for stepping up and taking care of the bills for now. With this we are now over $100,000 in medical costs and there is still plenty more to come.

I am happy to read that the surgery went good and that Mac is getting help in dealing with the pain and discomfort! :thumbsup:
The poor kid has been through alot but hopefully this will be it for a long, long time to come and she can get back to being a kid again! :hurray:
I dropped you a mesage some time ago, but figured that you may have been dealing with something concerning this and didnt want to pester you! :D
At any rate, I am happy to hear that things are on track and everything is going good!
