Took my car for a drive today and noticed on initial crank up/movement that the steering kinda stuttered when turning from a dead stop. It was fine while driving at speed but from a stop or while in park and turning it is jerky/stutters. I check the power steering fluid and it is good. Guessing the PS Pump is going out? This sound about right?

It might also have air trapped in it? I would jack the car up and start it and crank the wheel lock to lock and see if it clears out?

Found it....damn bracket on the bottom of the PSP broke where the bolt tightens the PSP to it. I would assume a standard bracket from NPD will suffice?

could be. could be belt slipping, or not tight.
