Odd thing happened today... I removed the left front indicator assembly to remove the bulb holder and wire (which I failed at, how does this come out?) and in the process broke the bulb. Replaced it and re-fitted the assembly but now the indicators just stay on permanently?! On both sides as well... What happened? Any ideas?
Thanks!

What year ? The bulb holders are usually pressed into the front assemblies and not easily replacable.
You may have stuck the wrong bulb in or shorted something trying and fried the flasher can.
(The one that's not in the fusebox if it has hazzards)
Check your parkers still work, If they do and the indicators stay on and don't flash ? It's the flasher can.

Thanks, I thought those bulb holders didn't look replaceable - might have to invest in complete new units. It's a '70
Parkers? The hazard warnings work, does that use the same flasher relay? I don't even know where it is.
Thanks for getting me in the right direction :)

No, it's a seperate flasher.
It's usually located on a C clip behind the radio, look for a loom with thick pink and purple wires.
