im assembling my front suspension on my 70 wagon. the only piece i cant ID are these snubbers. the lower control arms have rectangular shaped bump stops but where do these go? THANKS

They pop into a hole in the upper a-arm and hit a spot on the frame when the car lifts that high.

On a 71 coupe I'm working on it pops into the frame below the upper control arm (above the spring pocket)

I do camaros mostly, so I had to double check the chevelle I'm working on....

There should be a hole in the frame below the upper control arm as mentioned above.
In this photo you can see the spot in question easily since I have tubular upper arms. The spot is the round spot directly inboard of the ball joint. I've installed small black plastic plugs in this hole to give the chassis a more finished look.
