I think this is a fairly rare intake manifold. Just pulled out of 30 years in storage and is in excellent condition.

Casting number -- 3866963
Casting date ---- April 13, 1965 (4-13-65)

My friend is cleaning out some old stuff and I told him that I would try to find out what a fair price would be for some of his parts.

Thanks guys!The manifold was used on the big car & Corvette 396/425 as well as the Z16 Chevelle. I don't know what the run length was of the Z16, all my photos of Z16 trim tags are last week of March and concensus is most Z16s had already been built by the end of March or early April. Being the casting date is April 13 it may have been slated for the big car or Corvette.

In any event, the intake might be a gold mine if the right buyer can be found. "Fair" is hard to say and certainly doesn't translate well with desireable parts. :D

Pat put it on ebarf and let us know when you do so we could see just really happens with it. You never know till the right 2-4 buyers really need that intake.:thumbsup:
