Does the steering column from a power steering car fit an original manual steering car? Shaft length, rag joint coupler, etc? Hoping for less slop, and want an intact column shift linkage.

I found an original 1966 283 Powerglide ps car column, wondering if it will fit my 66 manual steering coupe, orginally a six. Both are non tilt.

It will fit. The shaft on the manual box makes up the difference.
