I warmed up the car today and decided I wanted to find out what my timing curve was like. This is the same curve I was using last Thursday at Test N Tune.
RPM - Degrees of Advance
850 20
1200 30
1500 32
2500 35
3000 39
4000 40
4500+ 40
This timing curve ended up giving me the best MPH so far. Here's my 1/8mi timeslip from the best MPH run.
60' - 2.438
330- 6.744
1/8- 10.264
MPH/ 70.23
My best ET came with my previous curve.
800-17
1000- 20
1400- 28
1800- 30
2000- 30-31
The timeslip on the run looked like this
60'- 2.162
330-6.590
1/8-10.176
mph-69.5
The day seems hotter the last time out. I did the same burn out and launch technique, or as close to the same as i could get it. But the 60' just wasn't there all day. Is my new curve ok? or should I add more timing. Motor is a 355ci with only 8.3:1 CR and 7.1 DCR.
