I got this about a year ago. It was getting paint for most of this year. Yeah there were delays. First off the guys do it in their off-time. Their building contractor was behind on the new shop. And the Mississippi flood of this summer set them back a month since they had to move the car because the town was in danger of flooding.

Well I got the stripes put on today. Here's a sneak peak.

Yep, just in time to tuck it away for winter. Actually I've had it home for two months to put the interior and trim back on. The stripes had to wait until the paint dried down good. Now that I have the stripes on I just had to share it.

It was Placer Gold. Dave (re-animated) found a very close modern mix that has a little more "pop" and a little less "green" in the gold. Looks great in the sun.

Jim Hudgins helped me with the black around the head lights. I'll get more pix posted.
