I spent all day at the exhaust shop yesterday while they fabbed and installed the new 3" system on the 69. I went with a cross over pipe directly behind the flowmaster scavenger collectors (1 3/4 primary header tubes)to Dynomax ultra flows, and then up and over the rear end out to the bumper. The man cursed just the right amount of times to let me know that he was doing his best to make it all that it should be. Lots of test fitting / scrap pipe by the time it was done. Sounds great, much different than the 2 1/2" raven muffs and pipes. The new system is QUIET compared to the old one! Waiting for the track to open later this month to check for any gains, until then its finally time to hit the streets!!! I was thinking on ordering the mandrel bent systems post here from several sources, price and shipping to AK was just to much. Find yourself a real exhaust guy and then stuff the "beer money" in his shirt pocket when he does you right!!!!!

Too much, 500 bucks and I supplied the mufflers..........ouch! Dont tell my wife, project funded by "what you dont know wont hurt you dollars". I am sure that the ALASKA factor / price came into play on this deal. Another reason I shied away from the kits, car has 9" rear and aftermarket suspension parts that may have interfered with store bought kits. She does like the Magna flow stainless tips.....looks good!!!

Sound thinking "what you don't know, won't hurt you" ;) I just put in a "Pypes" system (2 1/2) but I have a feeling the shipping for you would have been as much as the kit ($329) shipping for me was $45.
Hey if your happy, that's ALL that matters. Now go out there and grab some gears!!!

LMAO very nice. I'll make sure to keep an eye out for that if I ever get exhaust work done, just so I know it's being done properly. ;) :D graemlins/thumbsup.gif
