Actually, the 70-72 MC is just a fancy and longer Chevelle. MANY parts are common between the two. If by any chance the MC rear has the rear sway bar and boxed lower trailing arms, install those also. Next, look at your car to see if the FORWARD mounting bolts of both the upper and lower trailing arms have a brace connecting them together. If not, look to see if this brace is on the MC. If so, also install this brace on your car.
