I just installed a 350 sbc mated to a TH350 in my '69 Chevelle. I did not prefill the torque converter. Am I screwed (i.e. do I have to drop the tranny)? I know some TQ will fill on their own. Thanks, Brawley

69 Daytona Yellow 3 Speed Nov 8th, 08, 6:23 PM Hmmmmm, i gonna say fill it. I do it. Every show on tv says fill it. I remember on Monster Garage they did not and trashed the tranny. When installing the converter, Slide it in, Then turn while pushing until it engages the pump and slides the rest of the way in....
