I have been looking for a week and there seems to be no supplier for an alternator bracket for a 69 Nova (strip car)using the Moroso electric water pump. All the rigs listed on the Jegs or Summit sites run smack into the stock frame or, inverted they hit the block! There must be something available.
Any ideas?
Thanks all!

The question is 'How much do you want to $pend?' or 'How good are you at fabrication?' I had the same issue with my 71 Nova drag car when i was putting together the electric system for my BB. East Coast Auto Electric (www.ecae.com) has billet brackets for all kinds of setups. You're going to have some trouble with an electric WP and a fullsize alternator in a Nova subframe. I went with their Ultra-mini alternator and mid-mount bracket. I've got a pic of my setup on my website: users.adelphia.net/~jjdaly/blogger.php
It's pretty pricey but works, fits great and looks great.

71bigblock-That is exactly the setup I need and I can see its a tight fit.
Can you give me a parts list and also an output rating on that mini alternator?
Much appreciated!

Digging up a dead post.
Looks like I might be going with an electric WP too, I guess I'll see what the alternator brakets are going to cost me.
Anyone else have any new info to share?
Thanks.

Moroso makes relocation mounts for both BBC's and SBC's that relocate them to the driver's side. Not sure if it will work with power steering. Mine needed some work to make fit, but they are really cheap... like 40 bucks or so.
