I'm seriously considering purchasing a set of Dart PRO1 200cc sbc heads from Competition Products out of Oshkosk, WI. I believe that they buy the raw casting and then do in-house machine work and assembly. The hardware they use seems to be decent.

Does anybody have experience dealing with these folks? Are they reputable? Any recommended alternate suppliers? Thanks in advanvce for you opinions.

Only done business with them once, bought all the valvetrain components for my 454 from them. Had really good prices and the sales rep on the phone knew their product line really well. Overall a very good experience.

I stop in there from time to time and the guys there are pretty damn good. All of them have race cars so they have a handle of what a regular guy needs.

If you got their most recent catalog. The orange Nova on the cover is seriously bad ass and it's engine is a Paterson Race engine. Butch Paterson works at Competition Products and his shop does their machine work.

I bought some Canfields from them.I have no regrets and Butch has always been very helpful.

No probs. here either.
