I have a 70 LS5 w/cowl hood,I am replacing the original motor and replacing with a 496.Has anyone here used the performer Air-Gap or the RPM Air -Gap and if so is there clearance issues the stock cowl hood?http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z65/prostreet56/2007_0531415070006.jpg

Yes I u did it with a Air Gap works fine is a bit snug,so i flipped rubber on air breather over and works good.1970chevlle w/454.

Are you using the Performer or RPM Air Gap?
