So after years of reading the forums, seeing others join the elite ranks of chevelle owners, I finally have cause to start posting. I am the proud 3rd owner of a 69 SS and after 13 years of obsessing, can now shake your hands without having the notion of grabbing your keys and running like hell flash through my head.

That being said, I have a favor to ask of you all. Seeing as I have more time than money and an alleged infinite supply of patience, I'm prepping myself to dive headlong into a frame off restomod. So the next time you fellas with the body on a rotisserie are in the garage, when the body is on its side what is the measurement from floor to the highest point?

Thanks for your time
Zach

It's going to be determined by how far off the ground you want it. I left about 6 inches off the sides of the quarter panel on mine. I'll have to measure later for you though. It fits underneath the garage door opening, which I think is around 7 ft tall.

Here is a pic of mine, click on profile to get pics of rotis

Heres a 69 on one. http://www.1969supersport.com/roto.html

Keep it low so it won't hit the garage door opener.
