Have you tried calling him? I have never spoke to him or even tried to contact him yet, myself but I am looking for some parts for my 69SS and figured I would try and call him.

You will have much better luck calling him than trying to e-mail him or locate him here on the 'boards: 402-674-3147

Even at that you may need to leave a message or two or call back a few times. He will likely be very helpful when you do make contact.

Not that long ago, John pm'd me that he gets "over 2000 e-mails a day for parts requests and at least at a minimum 30 phone calls a day". I suspect that 2000 e-mails a day might have been a typo but even if he meant 200 or even 20, that's a lot to deal with on a daily basis! He admits that he gets behind since he works alone so be patient.

As a side note, John is expanding his inventory to 1955 thru 1995 so if anyone is in need of anything for the newer cars, keep John in mind.

He just called, and as usual had what I needed at a real good price!
Good dealings with him always.

And things don't slow down for him in the cold weather. His place is really large so going out to get the part you need when it is really cold is probably quite a chore. Make sure to give him an extra thank you when you can. John also has kids and a wife which require his attention at times and he pretty much runs his entire yard by himself so be patient and he'll make good for you!

And John also goes out and finds all the cars he gets and hauls them back to his yard. Most people dont know how many cars he really has, it was over 2000 cars and that was about 6 months ago.

I pay John extra for his parts. He sells them at very good price and always comes up with what I need, so I have no problem in paying more than he is asking..Plus he always sends the part before he even gets the money........

He used to post here, but not much anymore. He owns a salvage-yard for classic cars, and kind of specializes in Chevelles... thousands of cars, and has just about everything you could need. :)
