Hooker advertises these as specific for GM muscle cars, including the Chevelle. We are trying to find a header for a 1969 Chevelle with a small block and are considering these Hookers. Anybody have any experience with these? Thanks (and yes, I did do a search first)

Are these for an angle plug application? Are they Super Comps?

They are competition headers and they will fit angle plug heads. 1 5/8".

Footnote 62 on Holley's web site says it will fit the angle plugs and footnote 127 (which I guess I didn't read) says it won't. Alrighty, then. Bill, I think I'm going to assume you are correct.
I've checked Summmit, Jeg's, and Holley's web sites and I've noticed that one will say that a particular header is a shorty, another says it isn't.
I think what I will do is check out some comparable Chevelles are car shows, see what headers they are running and get those. Anybody got a better idea? Thanks.
Alright, a quick edit because I just checked holley.com. According to that web site, footnotes 62, 111, 241 and 242 apply to these headers. Guess what: I found footnote 62, but there were no more footnotes (no 111, 241 or 242). Bill, where did you find that footnote?

Yes, it is a small block Chevelle. Okey dokey, now I'll take a look at Summit. Thanks, Bill.

Iv'e used both the 5/8" hooker competition and 3/4"super competition on my sbc 69. Both mounted on the aluminum corvette heads with angled plugs. The comps are a more universal fit and were o.k It was really difficult to access a couple of the bolts and plugs. The super comps fit better, and even though they are bigger, bolt and plug access is better. Granted there is about a 350.00 dollar difference between the two. I would step up and get them coated. I've made the mistake of ordering 12 point bolts, order some 3/8" six points . your life will be easier.
