Have any of you done the aluminum radiator swap that was in the issue vol 8 no 6 ,Low Buck Aluminum Radiator? I took my issue of Chevelle World down to my local chevy dealer and ordered the radiator and isolators, when the radiator came it was a one row radiator the artical states it is a three row. Did Chevy screw up or did they not know what they were looking at when they got the radiator ? The box my radiator came in had the right part # ,and I would like to know where they found it for #155.00

Go to GM Parts Direct (http://www.GMPartsDirect.Com) and type in your part number and see what they come up with.

I've never seen a three or four aluminum radiator but then again I do lead a sheltered life.
We replaced the rad in a friends 95 3/4 ton GMC van with a GM HD unit and it was at most a 1/4 inch thicker than the piece we took out but it made a world of difference in cooling the van while towing.

88502, Yes I have that radiator in my BB Elky now. I does look real thin, maybe 1.5",but it cools just fine w/AC.I do have an aluminum Stewert water pump also.took it to CB 04,only used the air on the way back to KC alittle. So my AC time with it has been short. But the couple times with a 180 termo.it didn't get over about 195-200 deg.with some idle times...
I got mine thru a local rad.shop who shopped around for that part# I got it for about $145 this last spring....
