I need help locating two items for a 67 Chevelle:

1) the stainless steel or chrome cap that goes on the outside of a vent window stud.
2) the small striker plate that goes on a gloce box lid for the latch to catch on.

I have checked GU, OPGI and even Ames and cannot find. Any help?

try member allyears, he has about anything you need, very honest and fair man. Its that small stuff that makes you nuts rebuilding one of these!!!:(

Your vent window studs have a chromed 1/4-20 nut with a big built in washer along with a clear plastic washer underneath them. They are the same in most GM cars of that vintage with the vent windows.

you could also try sloans. he usually has most anything you could be looking for. 64elkynss
