Could not find my plate that used the Malibu emblem (bought 2) so I stuck on a repop plate and the SS emblem. Looked fine out of the wrapper. For some reason it looks kind of goldish now, it hasnt been wiped down with anything.

Anyone else experience this? Driving me nuts.

I know what your saying. Its because the plating is too thin and is translucent to the color below. that's my .02 welcome to cheap Chinese parts!

Ugh......somethign else to return...I thought maybe it was reflecting some red paint off the dash by chance and got that look. I cant believe in 2 weeks time outta the wrapper it did that. Im glad we have repop parts but sheesh...

I ended up going on a search for a decent original and bought 2 and kept the best of the 2 but I do have an extra that's in really good shape for its age. PM me if your interested
