I need to know what tire would fit in my 70 chevelle I have 15x10 5.5 bs , I'm looking at race slicks and street slicks seeing that it would not be a daily driver
it would not be a big deal if i ran slicks(I think)
I have a stock set up the rear (rear end /springs) so i want to fill the wells up but don't what any rubbing . I'm looking at a set of
26x11.5x15 street et i was told that i would be better off with a taller tire so i could get a wide foot print. also a 29x10.5x15 slick was offerd to me, input on sizes would help thanks smile.gif

28x10.5x15's E/T drags, fill the wheel wells on my 72 just right...mounted on 15x8's,might work better on 10" wheels, but don't want to hammer on it or roll the lip. I've had better luck with Hoosier slicks though,,,28x9 Hoosiers beat the heck out of the bigger M/T's.

I'd pay close attention to tire diamater. I put on 28 11.50 et streets they measured 29 3/4" tall with 20psi.

Look up Larry Hodge. He is best guy to buy drag race tires from. I bought both my ET streets and a pair of Hoosires from him. He is very knowlegable and his prices are better than mail order.
