They are pearl white also! I have a 70 and mine are pearl.
Just for the record, in case someone is searching this topic I will add this. Until somebody steps up and shows real proof (as in a survivor) of a '70 with ivory interior and a factory white headliner, I will never believe this :noway:. Please, someone, anyone, prove me wrong with something other than a restoration book by Paul Herd, thank you, sincerely. http://www.chevelles.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=17989&cat=22

The pieces that you are taking about should match the seats ( Pearl White). This is a 2 stage dye process, that is available from Year One. The 1st stage is a base coat 7 the the 2nd stage is a clear coat, with the pearl added to it. I know this, because I just bought some for my car. I would think the car should have a black headliner, I have never seen a white one in a Chevelle.
