Im just wondering if there is a good place to chop my pipes, I had all new exhaust put on but its when I had the small block with shorty headers. Now putting on the big block full lengths, I was just going to cut the pipes maybe 6" from the headers, not sure how much room the shop will need to weld in a new piece, I dont want to do it tongue.gif

I would wait until the headers are installed, and then take your measurements.Probably about 44" from the muffler inlet to the collector flange (this is with a exhaust w/tailpipes)
but again, this can vary..so just and wait and be patient smile.gif

Probably the quickest responce Ive ever had! smile.gif I agree, I wanted to wait. But I dont think they will go in with the way the small block exhaust starts to come up, you know right around the lower floor/firewall area, The header flange will hit, and I cant push the pipes to the sides because theres an H pipe, so they wont budge.

If the mufflers are in the stock location, measure 50" from the muffler inlet then cut it..that will give you plenty.
